Indonesian art/craftwork from a master carver
My friend, Sandi, from Indonesia, asked me for a marketing example that I would use for my university graduate students. Since this was my father's birthday and he was an entrepreneur, too, this goes out to his memory. Hi, Dad.
I made Sandi's blog (BIG push for blogs: no cost, easy to make, and creatively inspiring), and these are some features of his spring sale. Exclusively rare, materials like agate, opal, abalone, horn, and more. Spring sale is going on now!!

More Fun from the Kinetic Sculpture Race, Arcata, CA
More images (and some former friends) from the Kinetic Sculpture Race, in Arcata, CA, during the end of May each year.
Amazing what basic bicycle pedal power, a blowtorch, and metal can do! Oh, and these things have to go down a beachhead stretch down to the inlet and kick-pedal by paddlewheel down to a landing point (use pontoons, see?), and then dismantle-assemble again into a land machine to the finish line.
